組成人類身體的細胞們,其實有90%是其他的微生物。也就是說我們其實是帶有自己的DNA的細胞與其它微生物(細菌、黴菌等等)所組成的綜合體(希臘人或是用英文的人會稱之為Chimera)。因此我們在想,是否有可能在身體以外的地方培養生長在我們身上的細菌,讓它們變成我們的身體的延伸?

於是沛瑩、廣毅、采容、顥馨四人決定使用石膏像製作方式來1:1複製養出身體上的細菌。

90% of all the cells on human body is consists of bacteria, fungi, and archaea. In a way, we human beings are all chimera of human cells and other species in one. We are thinking is it possible to cultivate these microbes and making them the extension of our body?

We (Pei-Ying, Fred, Tsai-Jung, Aushin) tried to use the technique in ceramics to replicate human body parts but using medium specially designed for growing microbes, and through the molding process to replicate these microbes onto the new agar-made body parts, and grow them separately.
